went down to FAR EAST yesterday...for a bite after DAT dreadful GP test..man..i was half dozing off...*was struggling darn hard to keep my eyes peeled.....*
anyway....DEAR deLIa dragged me to these two IDOL COLLECTION SHOPS at Far East.....( they sell truckloads of pictures of idols..like...ENERGY, 5566, F4, Comiz Boys...) man...i was ASTOUNDED by the pple who patronises those stalls!!!

it's amazing to see youths....some younger than me...digging out tens of bucks to get their hands on pictures, magazines and posters of their idols!!! these things dun come cheap...a particular 5566 poster was goin out at an UNBELIEVABLE price of $15/- sheesh!!! daylight robbery!!!

i cant believe pple are actually snappin these stuff up! i've got nothing against gettin biographies or pictorials of their idols as these books have AESTHETIC value(to a certain extent) BUT photographs?!

well...speaking from my own experience, i was once an AVID fan of A1, a boyband from UK (i am still horrified at the thought of it though....). i collected umm...pictures and magazine clippings of them for a few months....however, i got out of this CRAZED STUPOR (thabk GAWD) when i bumped into them at HMV on a particular saturday. they weren't extraordinary or i dunno...say "unique" or anything like their onscreen personas,i suppose....in fact, they were kidding around with each other, harpin on why gals are fallin for them....and lLAUGHING at how some FANS are queing up for hours JUST to SEE THEM!!!
MAN>i felt like an idoit and THE biggest FUB when i overheard their conversation!!! needless to say, the minute i got home, i chucked half their pictures and magazines clippings into the garbage bin....*i still have a part of these stuff lying in a forgotten place somewhere.... ewwww YUCKS!*

so..the MORAL of the story is...hey..you can like them and support their music BUT dont be too crazed. Crudely put, its like being infatuated with UNREALISTIC dreams.
come to think bout it.....it's THE fans who put these "IDOLS" where they are now...shouldn't the IDOLS be gettin their FANS" autograph?! *man..go figure*

woo...now i sound like some anti idol PREACHER!!! yikes!
to put things straight, i've GOT nothing against these IDOLS, but sometimes, if you sit down and think about stuff and happenings around ya, like um..the issue i mentioned, it's inevitable that it's gonna trigger some questions that will have no answers....

Bingo! WE made it! we managed to get REAAaaaaaaaaaaally good seats for the conCert! Up froNt too!!! both was Us was Hilarious!!!man.....we were desperately Tryin to use Our cell as DIscReeTly as Possible IN publIc!!!! DoH~

hmm... i SO sound like a freak fan of D.Tao!!! Shucks! dun get me wrong...i think he is a fantastic guy and all..... but i am more INTO HIS music and the message behind his music than his star status!!! i think his muSic is really sweLL. i did not thought Much about him till i Plugged my ears Into one of His songs; "DEAR GOD"--- the message and significance of the song is MASSIVE. i am impressed by his inPut of "peace' and "love" messages so unbelievably subtly and brilliantly into his MUSIC!!!he is DA man!!!

and his protege; TENSION...they may be at disadvantage in the looks department but their albums are slick and smooth!!! in My opinion, i see them more as a vocal group than a boyband.

D.TAO's concert will be on my SAT's exam day....i sure hope i can cream the paper...(it's a dream.....i noe..but hey.....WHY NOT?) haha! I TRY.....THERFORE I CAN!!!~grins~
